I have felt out every possible means of debt consolidation and elimination and still my best option is bankruptcy. This is not a question of IF I should file, but HOW. • 6How do I stop living paycheck to paycheck?

I am a teacher with a lot of debt . I accumulated a lot of credit card debt when I had to stop working for a few months before I started teaching to finish my teaching portfolio and get my classroom ready . ( That was 2 years ago . ) Also got into an apartment that is too expensive for me . (A fool who my finances and told me that I could afford . ) I know I have to leave, but my lease month is October , right after the summer that are not paid . I can not figure out how to get enough money for a security deposit . I am paying all my minimum payments of my credit cards and I've fallen behind on my student loans . I've cut my expenses by a ton . I went two months without any money entertainment. I started taking the bus to save money on gas , I stopped buying things like contacts and makeup and just wear glasses and be a little less fortunate looking . I got a roommate in my apartment and obtained a second job . I tried to consolidate , but nobody wants to give me a bigger loan since I have bad credit . I can not see how I can make any progress in my bills and save for a security deposit on an apartment more affordable . Thank you !

  • 7Employees living paycheck to paycheck?

I own a small business and it seems all our employees are living paycheck to paycheck. Is there something I can do to encourage them to save more money and stop buying crap? I am tired of requests for advances in pay. FYI, the lowest payed wager earner is $11.00 per hour and the highest has a base salary of $72K per year plus bonuses. Half of them requested advances at one time or another and I know several have maxed out on credit cards. We provide good benefits such as medical/dental, frequent bonuses, but still . . . :( should I send them to a class on money management? I don't want them to go broke, cause I want them to keep working for me. I will pay people what they are worth, but they seem to keep spending more the more they are paid.

  • 8Frustrated. Living paycheck to paycheck?

I'm interested in the field of education services / social . I have not got my teacher certification, but I am interested in working with children . However, I can not get a job that pays more than $ 30,000 / year. I live in the city , which is expensive in itself . Rent is outrageous . I have student loans, car payment , phone bill , cable , electricity , gas , insurance, food and other living expenses .... I want to save , but I do just enough to get by. Although I love helping children , I am frustrated with this race and I'm thinking about going back to school . How do I pay this? And all the fields related to education services / social care for children , but pay more ? I know money is not the most importat but I really want to stop living paycheck to paycheck.

  • 10Tired of being broke, financial advice?

Well, I have 27 years , recently married and am looking for some kind of financial advice , I guess. I have a title that has been completely useless and student loans to start paying . I have two part-time jobs ( except in summer , when I work full time ) right now I 'm looking for something better. I filed my taxes today and found out that I am doing enough to put in my car to keep it running and nothing else . I realize that being an adult does not have much money to fly solo in the first place , but has reached the point where they can barely afford to keep enough gas in my car to go to work . It's been that way since last summer . I feel as if I will never achieve. I totally did not have an extra penny for anything at all . It's frustrating and starting to wear on me. I think of nothing but money anymore. Any advice at all? Hoping I'm not alone in my frustrations .
